Get to Know WEBBY San Fernando Valley
Meet our Franchise Owner: Kaitie Richman
Kaitie was born in Maryland and began her dance journey at the fun age of 3. She trained in Ballet, Gymnastics, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, Contemporary, Pointe, and Lyrical. By the age of 12 Kaitie was already assisting and helping out around her studio, and she had even gotten her first professional job as a dancer. Growing up she also competed in dance competitions around the country winning various titles , plaques and trophies.
She went on to study dance at the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC, deepening her knowledge and even adding some new styles under her belt. Styles such as Jazz funk, Latin Jazz, Theater Dance, and multiple types of modern dance. After Joffrey, Kaitie retuned home to assist her mentor and became a certified McGovern Method teacher. It also reignited her love of teaching dance.
In August of 2020 Kaitie packed up and moved to LA, and later that year she found herself training to be a WEBBY DANCE COMPANY teacher. Once she started she knew she had found something special. Kaitie Richman purchased her franchise in 2025 after being with the company as a teacher, and area manager for 5+ years. She loves to share the joy of movement with children and looks forward to growing and expanding WEBBY in the San Fernando Valley.

Q. When is Tuition due?
A. Tuition is due on the first of the month for that month’s lessons.
Q. What if I pay late?
A. There is a $10 late fee for tuition paid after the 15th of each month.
Q. How do I pay?
A. You log into the parent portal and set up automatic monthly payments OR you log in monthly and pay by the 15th of the month to avoid late fees.
Q. Are there any payment discounts?
A. Yes, we have 2 discounts: a sibling discount and a discount for two lessons a week (multi-class). Contact us to confirm we have applied the discount for you.
Q. What if my child joins class mid-month?
A. We will pro-rate your tuition based on when your child starts. Shorter months will not be prorated as there are several months with a 5th weekly lesson at no additional charge.
Classes are 30 min in length unless otherwise specified.
We operate on a month-to-month basis and our program is on-going unless otherwise specified in the paperwork provided by your school. Many students start in the fall and remain in the program for a full year to get the most out of the program, but children may join a class at any point. Our instructors know just how to make new students feel welcome.
When you register your child on-line, the instructor is notified immediately and your child may attend the next session. We suggest that you let the classroom teacher know that your child will start WEBBY classes this week.
Registration fees are paid annually for each WEBBY student.
Your child will receive a NEW WEBBY shirt each year within 2 to 3 weeks of registration. Shirts are distributed at your child’s school either before or after class.
WEBBY instructors are trained to give their undivided attention to the class and we don’t want any distraction while they are instructing. Therefore, instructors do not take photos or videos of individual students to share progress with parents. Teachers are always more than happy to give you verbal updates about your child’s progress, however. Just ask! Have questions about this? Contact us to discuss.
WEBBY students love to perform and many schools invite WEBBY to participate in their holiday shows, spring shows, and graduations. Each school makes its own decisions about performances.
