Get to Know WEBBY Kentucky
Ms. Shannon started dancing in 1986, she continued taking classes until she graduated college.
Shannon started performing and competing on dance teams when she entered middle school and continued in high school where she became Captain of the Elite Team. Shannon continued her dance experience by dancing for NKU Elite Norse Dance Team for 5 years.
While attending NKU Shannon graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with areas of concentration in English, History, Physical Education/Recreation Fitness, and Dance. Starting in 1999 Ms. Shannon coached local Northern Kentucky and Indiana middle and high schools dance teams. She started teaching for WEBBY Dance in 2011, and in 2013 Ms. Shannon became the Northern Kentucky Franchise owner.

Q. When is Tuition due?
A. Tuition is due on the first of the month for that month’s lessons.
Q. What if I pay late?
A. There is a $10 late fee for tuition paid after the 10th of each month.
Q. How do I pay?
A. You log into the parent portal and set up automatic monthly payments OR you log in monthly and pay by the 15th of the month to avoid late fees.
Q. Are there any payment discounts?
A. Yes, we offer staff discounts and family rates
Q. What if my child joins class mid-month?
A. We will pro-rate your tuition based on when your child starts and how many classes are scheduled for that month.
Q. Will my tuition be prorated on months where there are not 4 classes
A. No. Shorter months will not be prorated as there are several months with a 5th weekly lesson at no additional charge.
Q. How many classes will I receive in a year
A. Tuition covers, on average, 40 classes for a full year (September 1st- August 31st). Holidays are not included, and extra complementary days are built in.
Q. What happens with weather related closures
A. If your school closes due to weather that will not be made up. Extra weather days are automatically built into our calendar. However when possible we will make up the class by coming in on a different day or add time to make up the loss.
Classes are 25-30 min in length unless otherwise specified.
We operate on a month-to-month basis and our program is on-going unless otherwise specified in the paperwork provided by your school. Many students start in the fall and remain in the program for a full year to get the most out of the program, but children may join a class at any point. Our instructors know just how to make new students feel welcome.
When you register your child on-line, the instructor is notified immediately and your child may attend the next session. We suggest that you let the classroom teacher know that your child will start WEBBY classes this week.
Registration fees are paid annually for each WEBBY student.
Your child will receive a NEW WEBBY shirt each year within 2 to 3 weeks of registration. Shirts are distributed at your child’s school either before or after class. T-shirts are ONLY given on months when an enrollment fee is paid in full. On months where registration fee is discount or waived, you may purchase a WEBBY shirt by contacting our office, scheatham@webbydancecompany.com
Current students will receive a new WEBBY shirt each September after the annual fee has been paid.
WEBBY instructors are trained to give their undivided attention to the class and we don’t want any distraction while they are instructing. Therefore, instructors do not take photos or videos of individual students to share progress with parents. Teachers are always more than happy to give you verbal updates about your child’s progress, however. Just ask! Have questions about this? Contact us to discuss.
Yes! All WEBBY dancers are automatically enrolled in our end of the year recital. There is an opt out form located on your parent portal that must be completed by December 15th if you wish to not participate. This form is available from September 1- December 14th. If you enroll after December 14th contact our office to opt out.
