Melissa passion and love for dance and teaching stems from her extensive background and experience. Melissa began dancing at the age of seven and continued to cultivate her talents throughout Junior High and High School. After High School, she attended Cal State Fullerton where she studied modern dance, ballet, jazz, and gymnastics. While in college, she performed at Disneyland as various characters and worked as a choreographer for Diamond Bar High School, leading several show choirs to award winning competitions. Melissa graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, T.V. and Film with a Minor in Dance. Along with her degree, she also obtained a Child Development Permit and became a fully qualified pre-school teacher. After college, she taught group and private lessons in several local dance studios and worked with competition teams, winning numerous awards.
Melissa started working for WEBBY Dance Company® as an Instructor in 2003 and fell in love with her career and the company. She continued her growth with WEBBY and now currently owns and operates three territories of her own throughout Southern California. Melissa is a passionate and caring business owner as well as a loving and dedicated mother of two tiny dancers who are dancing right along in her footsteps. She continues to share her gift of dance with not only her two little girls but her WEBBY students as well!

Q. When is Tuition due?
A. Tuition is due on the first of the month for that month’s lessons.
Q. What if I pay late?
A. There is a $10 late fee for tuition paid after the 15th of each month.
Q. How do I pay?
A. You log into the parent portal and set up automatic monthly payments OR you log in monthly and pay by the 15th of the month to avoid late fees.
Q. Are there any payment discounts?
A. Yes, we have 2 discounts: a sibling discount and a discount for two lessons a week. Contact us to confirm we have applied the discount for you.
Q. What if my child joins class mid-month?
A. We will pro-rate your tuition based on when your child starts. Shorter months will not be prorated as there are several months with a 5th weekly lesson at no additional charge.
Classes are 30 min in length unless otherwise specified.
We operate on a month-to-month basis and our program is on-going unless otherwise specified in the paperwork provided by your school. Many students start in the fall and remain in the program for a full year to get the most out of the program, but children may join a class at any point. Our instructors know just how to make new students feel welcome.
When you register your child on-line, the instructor is notified immediately and your child may attend the next session. We suggest that you let the classroom teacher know that your child will start WEBBY classes this week.
Registration fees are paid annually for each WEBBY student.
Your child will receive a NEW WEBBY shirt each year within 2 to 3 weeks of registration. Shirts are distributed at your child’s school either before or after class.
WEBBY instructors are trained to give their undivided attention to the class and we don’t want any distraction while they are instructing. Therefore, instructors do not take photos or videos of individual students to share progress with parents. Teachers are always more than happy to give you verbal updates about your child’s progress, however. Just ask! Have questions about this? Contact us to discuss.
YES! WEBBY Chino holds an annual recital each June and information regarding recital is sent home to families in January.
