Get to Know WEBBY of Annapolis
Heather Wiley is the proud owner of WEBBY Dance Company of Annapolis. Heather began dancing at the age of 4. She was classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical. In addition to taking classes at local studios, she also performed and competed with her high school’s dance company and dance team.
In 2002, Heather earned her 90hr Childcare Certification and in 2005, she graduated from Anne Arundel Community College with a degree in Elementary Education. Heather has been teaching dance to children in Anne Arundel County for more than 24 years and has assisted in the production of many recitals and local ballets.
Heather always dreamed of owning a children’s mobile dance company and turned that dream into a reality, when she purchased the Annapolis Franchise of WEBBY Dance Company, in January 2016. Heather is very passionate about her business and the opportunity to enrich the lives of the smallest dancers in our community through creative movement!

Q. When is Tuition due?
A. Tuition is due on the first of the month for that month’s lessons.
Q. What if I pay late?
A. There is a $5 late fee for tuition paid after the 5th of each month.
Q. How do I pay?
A. Log into the Parent Portal to set up automatic monthly payments (recommended) OR log in monthly and pay by the 5th of the month to avoid late fees. We accept the following payment types: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Q. What if my child joins class mid-month?
A. We will pro-rate your tuition based on when your child starts. Shorter months will not be prorated, as there are several months with a 5th weekly lesson at no additional charge.
Q. How is Summer Tuition paid?
A. Summer Tuition is an all inclusive one-time payment made at the time of registration. Some schools offer traditional classes that are paid by the parent, while other schools may include WEBBY classes in their summer camp program at no additional cost to you.
Preschool classes are 30 min in length and Elementary-age classes range from 45-60 minutes in length, unless otherwise specified.
We operate on a month-to-month basis and our program is on-going, September through May, with additional opportunities during the summer. We offer open enrollment, so your child can join us at anytime, as long as the class enrollment isn’t full. We encourage children to begin our programs as soon as possible to get the most of everything WEBBY has to offer!
When you register your child on-line, the instructor is notified immediately and your child may attend the next session. We suggest that you let the classroom teacher know that your child will start WEBBY classes this week!
Registration Fees are paid annually for each WEBBY student. Families with more than one child enrolled in a WEBBY class will be offered a discounted Family Registration Fee.
Your child will receive a NEW WEBBY shirt each year within 2 to 3 weeks of registration. Shirts are distributed at your child’s school either before or after class. There is no shirt provided with summer program registration.
WEBBY instructors are trained to give their undivided attention to the class. Therefore, instructors do not take photos or videos of individual students to share progress with parents. Teachers are always more than happy to give you verbal updates about your child’s progress, however. Just ask! Have questions about this? Contact us to discuss.
WEBBY students love to perform and many schools invite WEBBY to participate in their holiday shows, spring shows, and graduations. Each school makes its own decisions about performances.
Additionally, WEBBY Dance Company of Annapolis offers an annual Dance Recital held in May. Stay tuned for more information regarding upcoming performances.
